I usually like a ton of things and have always been more or less of a jack of all trades. Photography was something I picked up back when I was in school and we had pioneered the school’s digital media club. Our teacher in charge sent us for a photography class and it was awesome ;D I learnt about the rule of thirds, how to frame my photo and we even went on a trip to town to capture some moments.
I secretly always admired waist-shots focusing on the camera itself. So I got Guan to help me with the shot but it didn’t turn out as nice as I would’ve liked. Oh, well. Another time, perhaps.

I came across The Daily Digi today and found it to be a really interesting site for digital scrappers out there. So, if you have yet to check it out, do so now! (:
There have this challenge known as From The Files (formerly known as More With 4) and it seemed like an interesting and fun challenge so I dug up the (very, very little) money I had and purchased The Digi Files and whipped up this layouts in a jiffy.
(From what I’ve heard,) most babies don’t really enjoy bathing as newborns. Not Zayden Asher though. He loved bath times since they day he was born. While other babies would be crying and/or screaming, Zayden looked forward to bath times. There were probably only a few instances where the sudden jet of water hits the tub, causing him to be alarmed and scream, but other than that, he’s a happy baby during bath time ^^
He was being the usual adorable happy self after his bath and as Guan and I were drying him up, we grabbed the D70 and started snapping away (:

I know I can never be in the sales industry because I am a terribly lousy salesperson D:
I have been going through the Baker’s Dozen blogs and everyone has been promoting Shimelle’s digital kits. I guess that means I’m totally lagging way behind everyone else :/
(I’m so sorry Shimelle! Please don’t be disappointed >.<)
Anyway, Shimelle has been working really hard so far in 2010 because there are so many lovely digi goodness made by her ;) Like her 2009 Streamlined Page Template and Wrap it Up Christmas Papers (which can be found in my drumming layout.) This time, I used her newest digital kit Can’t Buy Me Love and her Christmas Memories Page Templates for this layout I made of my two loves (:
Check out more of Shimelle’s awesome digital goodness here! ^^
Valentine’s Day is coming so I decided to use Shimelle’s kits to create this layout. I was halfway into it and didn’t like how it turned out (much) but decided I’ll use the elements some other way in another layout that I hope to do sometime later on this month (: I like how the strong teal came out but not a big fan of pink :/ I got the lens of Guan’s Nikon D70 cleaned and since then, I keep using it to snap lovely shots of Zayden ;D

Pen Scrappers have a monthly scrapping contest where you download the kit and use at least an element from that kit in your digital pages and upload into the site.
I had initially wanted to enter since they first launched in November last year. However, thanks to the crazy holiday season and with Zayden Asher being so young, I had trouble getting time off to scrap. Since it’s a brand new 2010, I decided to scrap more (:
The contest is entitled Welcome to the New You so I decided to do a layout on my new family ^^
This photo was actually taken a couple of days after Christmas but it was one of the cutest family portraits we have taken (and we didn’t take a lot) and it’s one where Zayden was looking at the camera (truth be told, it was taken on my iPhone).
A new year with a new life with my new family (: Let the adventures begin! ^^
Oh! And if you could be so kind, please vote for me! Thank you! :D

I have always wanted to be a proper drummer. Whenever I see a band plays, everyone would usually check out the lead vocalist or guitarist. Not me, though. I would always be checking out the drummer. I learnt a number of years ago that the leader of any band isn’t the drummer (the drummer drums beats so shouldn’t he be the leader? o_O) but the bassist. Still, it’s not easy learning to drum.
So I hope that my little boy would grow up to be a drummer (: I’ll be a drummer at my own time ;D
